Brakes & Rotors

Rotors work hand-in-hand with brake pads to stop your vehicle. As a general rule, you should get your brake pads replaced every 10,000 to 20,000 miles to keep wear to a minimum. When it comes to your rotors, you have a bit longer. Your rotors should be replaced between 50,000 and 70,000 miles to keep your brakes in peak health.

Muffler Exhaust

Mufflers are part of your vehicle’s exhaust. They aid in dampening vehicle emissions and engine noise. Mufflers last approximately five to seven years. However, several factors, such as frequent exposure to salt on roads, speed bumps, and potholes can result in premature aging. You may be in need of a repair.

Belts & Hoses

A good rule of thumb is to replace your V-Belt every 30,000 miles, while your serpentine belt and timing belt should be replaced every 50,000, although these numbers vary depending on the make and model of your car. Hoses should typically be replaced every four years.

Steering & Suspension

Generally, shocks and struts wear out every 50,000-100,000 miles. If you’re a more aggressive driver and/or frequently drive on rough roads, they will wear out faster. You may need to replace the steering fluid every 30,000 miles.

Tune Up

A tune-up is a maintenance procedure in which our mechanic will check and adjust all of the systems in your vehicle that affect its combustion process. If you want to keep your car in top-notch condition, running smoothly and avoiding breakdowns, you should schedule regular tune-ups with Tire Taxi today.
